Hardin County, Iowa

Hardin County is a county in North Central Iowa. It is named for John J. Hardin, a soldier killed in the Mexican American War.

The seat is Eldora, which is considerably smaller than the largest city of Iowa Falls.
It borders Franklin, Butler, Grundy, Marshall, Story and Hamilton Counties.
Main Highways Include US-20, US-65, IA-57 and IA-175.
